Vehicle Hire Terms and Conditions

Deposit A minimum deposit is required on all vehicles;

£500 for all over age of 25 years

£750 if hirer under age 25 years

Documents Required

The following documents are required before being able to hire a vehicle:

Driving Licence
(2 parts for UK Licences)
Passports for all drivers
2 X Utility bills for all drivers

Endorsement/Licences

Most are acceptable. Please ask at the time of hiring.

Additional Driver

All additional drivers must produce their driving licences at the TIME OF HIRE. Additional drivers are subject to a charge of £10 per driver per day (maximum 1 week).

Inclusive Mileage

First 200 miles per day are included in hire price, 10 pence per each additional mile thereafter.

Fluid Levels/Tyre Pressures

All vehicles are fully scrutinised before rental and during the term of the hire agreement, all such maintenance is the responsibility of the hirer.

Additional Costs -
Heathrow Airport & Gatwick

Heathrow Airport & Gatwick Airport delivery & collection provided at extra cost of £18.00 delivery & £18.00 collection.

Extra Hours / Late return

Each rental day represents 24 hours. A grace period of 1 hour late vehicle return is allowed subject to prior consent. Additional hours will be charged at the full daily rate (1 day).

Petrol and Diesel

Fuel Cost is the hirer's own responsibility. If the vehicle is hired with a full tank and returned with the tank emptied, the difference will be charged to the hirer. If the vehicle is returned with more fuel than original, no refund can be made,

Age Limits

The Age Limit is between 22 and 70 years, with a full driving licence held for a minimum of 1 year at the time of hire. Minibus drivers must be over 25 years, and with a minimum of 2 years holding a full driving licence. All drivers must be deemed competent to drive the vehicle of their choice.

Extension of Rental Period

Extension of the Rental Period is only possible with the express permission of Autopoint Cars Limited and will be subject to further advance payment. Extra days may be discounted on certain types of vehicle.

Rates

All rates quoted are exclusive of fuel. Rates quoted include insurance as stipulated, major maintenance, roadside assistance and oil. Rates are subject to change without notice.

We reserve the right to alter rates, terms and conditions and periods of rental, and to refuse rental without disclosing our reason.

Cancellations

We require 24 hours notice for the cancellation of a rental agreement or provision. We reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee of £15 per vehicle.

Congestion Charge/Parking Fines

There would be an administration charge for processing parking/congestion and bus lane fines.
